12/25/22 Campus Internet Connectivity Issue

LTS is aware and is currently working on resolving a campus connectivity issue. We have staff on campus diagnosing and we will provide periodic updates. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

LTS Holiday Break Coverage

From December 26th to January 2nd, LTS staff will periodically check messages sent to the Computing Help Desk (helpdesk@wellesley.edu) and Workday Support (workday@wellesley.edu)  and respond to urgent tickets. All other requests will be addressed after we return on Tuesday, January 3rd. If you have an emergency, please contact Campus Police and they will contact us.

All libraries will be closed. Facilities will curtail energy use during this time, so it will be chilly in the buildings. The lights will be on in the libraries. Faculty will have one card access to the buildings from 8 AM till 8 PM.

If you work in an administrative office where some staff will be working during this week,  you should contact the IT Business Analyst who supports your area about your support needs during this period.

11/25/22 – Network disruption from 11 PM to 12 AM on Friday Nov 25th.

We will be performing network maintenance over the Thanksgiving break on Friday, November 25th from 11 PM to 12 AM. Within this window, campus network and especially VPN will be available intermittently. For planning purposes, please assume that network connectivity both from the internet to the campus network and from the campus network to the internet will be unavailable. As always if you run into any issues, please email helpdesk@wellesley.edu and we will be happy to respond on Saturday morning.
