Effective November 1, Zoom will require that all Zoom users must update their software with the latest security settings. This will require everyone to update Zoom to at least version 5.5 or higher on or before November 1. If you are running an older version and do not update your Zoom before this time, you will not be able to join a meeting until you do. Please update your Zoom client to the latest version at your earliest convenience. Not sure what version you’re using? You can check the version here.
