1/24 11:40am Please limit wifi usage to academic classes

At this point we believe that the network problem may have to do with too many devices and the new associated IP addresses. While we are working to resolve it, we would greatly appreciate if you can turn off WiFi access on all additional devices except the device you need in order to access Zoom for your classes. If you are an administrative staff, please turn off WiFi on your phones. We are trying to minimize the number of devices that need an IP address to connect to the network.

11:15 am Our sincere apologies for the continued disruption.  We are continuing to work with the vendor on resolving the internet slowness.  In the interim, students can join their Zooms over cellular from their cell phones.  You should disable WiFi to ensure this is successful.  We appreciate this is not ideal and we are working to resolve the problem as soon as possible.

10:15am We have received reports of internet slowness on campus.  We’re investigating the issue with the vendor and will post an update when we have more information.
